MPSD searching for man after vehicle break-ins

The Mexico Department of Public Safety is searching for a man after several vehicles were broken into early Thursday morning.

According to a press release, officers responded to the 3600 block of South Clark Street in Mexico around 3:30 a.m.

Police said several vehicles had been broken into.

At one point, the suspect reportedly took a vehicle and drove it for a few blocks.

Police said the man had left the scene by the time they arrived.

Investigators are still working to find out what was stolen or damaged.

Police said they are looking for a white male, around 5 feet 10 inches tall with dark hair.
