TODAY: Showers will move east and out of the area by 8 AM with skies becoming partly cloudy. It will be a warm afternoon with a mix of clouds and sun. The humidity will gradually increase throughout the day. You’ll notice conditions a bit more muggy by evening. We’ll likely warm again to the low 80s with a south wind near 10 mph.
TONIGHT: There is a slight storm chance this evening and overnight, mainly after 6PM. Storms will have the potential to produce large hail and gusty 50 mph winds. It will be a very mild night with temperatures in the mid 60s.
EXTENDED: Storms are possible through Thursday morning north of I-70 through 9AM. There will be plenty of dry time during the day on Thursday before heavy rain and possible severe storms increases again mainly after 9PM. Rain and storms look possible through Friday moring, tapering off through lunchtime. Highs will only reach the mid 60s Friday. As of now, 1″ to 3″ of rainfall looks possible for areas west of US 63 by Friday night with areas east closer to 0.50″ to 0.75″. Cooler, dry weather moves in for the weekend with daytime highs in the mid 60s Saturday to near 70 Sunday and nights in the lower 40s. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack
