Columbia man charged with child-molestation
A mid-Missouri man was on the run Tuesday after being charged with child molestation in Boone County.
Court documents obtained by ABC 17 News show Columbia police officers have filed a warrant for the arrest of Frank Washburn, 64, of Columbia.
Washburn is charged with first-degree child molestation and enticement of a child under the age of 15.
Police said they received a report back in May that Washburn had offered to pay a 13 year-old victim $200 to touch her genital area.
The incident reportedly happened at a home in the 1200 block of Grindstone Parkway.
The same victim also told investigators of another incident that involved Washburn at a home in the 1500 block of Vandiver Drive.
Documents show this is the third victim to report Washburn sexually assaulted them to law enforcement.
