Columbia man charged after getting shot in both legs
ABC 17 News confirmed a man who was shot in both legs less than three weeks ago in northeast Columbia landed in jail, accused of having two illegal guns. On Wednesday ABC 17 News went through the latest court documents for Deangelo Porter.
ABC 17 News was at the scene last month as a man was loaded onto a stretcher Sylvan Lane and Whitegate Drive, between Paris Road and Clark Lane.
Afterwards, officers got a search warrant and found a pistol lying next to a pool of his blood. They also found an assault rifle in an upstairs bedroom that Porter shares with his girlfriend and her daughter.
So far, police have not issued a detailed description, and it appears no one has been arrested for shooting Porter.
