TONIGHT: Showers and t-storms will move in from the west and weaken as they move east by morning. A tenth to half inch of rain is possible with these storms with locally higher amounts in stronger storms. Lows will drop into the low to mid 60s by morning.
WEDNESDAY: Showers will move east and out of the area by 8 AM with skies becoming partly cloudy. It will be a warm afternoon with high temperatures in the low 80s and a south wind to 10 mph.
EXTENDED: There is a slight chance of evening storms Wednesday which will increase overnight in parts of Mid-Missouri. Storms are likely Thursday morning and again in the evening and overnight as a cold front approaches. There is a marginal severe threat Wednesday and Thursday for the potential of damaging wind and large hail with storms that move through. The cold front will be slow to move through, keeping rain chances going through Friday afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. Highs will only reach the mid 60s Friday. As of now, 1″ to 3″ of rainfall looks possible for areas west of US 63 by Friday night with areas east closer to 0.50″ to 0.75″. Cooler, dry weather moves in for the weekend with daytime highs in the mid 60s Saturday to near 70 Sunday and nights in the lower 40s. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack
