TODAY: Patchy fog looks likely this morning for areas south of I-70.
We’ll finally start to see clouds decreasing through the lunch hour today leaving increasing sun this afternoon and mild temperatures in the mid 70s with a southeasterly wind under 10 mph.
TONIGHT: We’ll be dry overnight with a southeasterly wind at 5-7 mph. The low will be warmer than the past few nights sitting in the upper 50s accompanied with partly cloudy skies.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will continue to warm till mid-week as sunny skies and warm air moving in rise high temperatures near 80 degrees. A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms begins Tuesday evening with the best chance of rain on Thursday this week. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather west of US 63 on Tuesday evening and for a good portion of Mid-Missouri north of I-44 on Wednesday. The rain chance will continue till Friday evening with mostly cloudy skies before a dry and cool weekend. As of now, a good 1″ to 2″ of rainfall looks possible for areas west of US 63 by Friday night with areas east closer to 0.50″ to 0.75″.
