Sunday morning, October 2

TODAY: Clouds will continue to persist into today leaving us with mostly cloudy skies and high in the lower 70s. We have another slight chance for isolated rain showers during the afternoon hours again. The best chance for these showers is areas along and east of US 63. If you have a small umbrella, it might be a good idea to take it along just in case. Tonight will remain cool with the low staying in the mid 50s with fog beginning to develop by late tonight.

MONDAY: We should finally see the sun break through Monday morning. Monday morning is likely going to have fog patches around Mid-Missouri, so definitely give yourself plenty of time for driving for you Monday morning commute. After the fog breaks around 9am, we will have mostly sunny skies, dry conditions, and a high temperature near 76 degrees. The low will be warmer than the past few nights sitting in the upper 50s accompanied with partly cloudy skies.

EXTENDED: Tuesday will continue Monday’s trend for sunny and dry conditions. By Tuesday evening the chance for rain comes into Mid-Missouri. Rain and a few t-storms look possible by Wednesday through Friday next week as another cold front passes through Mid-Missouri. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
