Rollover crash on I-70 sends two to the hospital
A crash in Boone County shut down the passing lane of eastbound I-70 for at least 30 minutes Sunday morning.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. on I-70, near Route Z.
According to the Highway Patrol crash report, Avery Davis, 19, was driving eastbound when the car drove off the left side of the road, hit a guardrail and flipped.
Davis was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, Khaliah Guinn, was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The crash reports said Guinn wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
