Columbia man accused of two different home burglaries

Columbia Police arrested Robert Wallace, 27, Saturday for reportedly forcing his way into a home without permission.

Wallace was also wanted by Boone County Sheriff deputies for a similar crime. The department said Wallace forced his way into a home in the 700 block of Demaret Drive on September 27. He allegedly assaulted a woman inside the home. He was able to get away before deputies arrived on scene.

Wallace is facing charges of first degree burglary, property damage, domestic assault and assault.

He’s currently being held in the Boone County Jail.
