Holts Summit Man sentenced to life in prison for molestation case
A Holts Summit man was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to eight counts of statutory sodomy in Jefferson City Thursday.
The Cole County Prosecutor’s Office said the investigation into Michael Kreps began in August 2014 when the Boone County Cyber Crimes Task Force and Callaway County Sheriff’s Department were contacted with child molestation allegations.
The investigation led authorities to sex toys and more than 20 photos of two children in sexual contact with Kreps and Tenessa Wolfe.
Kreps and Wolfe were arrested in May 2015. After their arrest, information was revealed that acts occurred as early as 2011 in Jefferson City.
Wolfe is currently serving 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of statutory sodomy.
