Columbia delivery driver charged with making up robbery
A Columbia woman has been charged after she allegedly made up a report about being robbed.
Boone County prosecutors charged Courtney Chancellor on Sept. 22 with a Class B misdemeanor of making a false report.
Columbia police said Chancellor claimed she was robbed on Sept. 1 while delivering food to Wolper’s Hall on the University of Missouri campus.
Surveillance video later showed Chancellor made the story up.
Chancellor is scheduled to be arraigned in Boone County at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.
