Man accused of attacking woman in downtown Columbia

A man landed in jail again, wanted for attacking another woman in downtown Columbia. Abdulrazak Mohamed appeared in court Tuesday after police say he pulled a woman’s hair, put his foot on her back and forced her to the ground around 11 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of 15 S. Ninth Street. She broke free after yelling and getting someone else’s attention. He was found sleeping under a blanket on a walking trail by Flat Branch park. ABC 17 News also got a hold of court documents in three other cases. In them, Mohamed is accused of grabbing a woman as she walked on Ninth Street in February, touching himself in a ditch near Elm and Sixth Street in November and trying to take off a victim’s clothes at the Islamic Center in October 2014.
