Police: moped rider stabbed other driver during fight

ABC 17 News confirmed a moped rider landed in jail Sunday afternoon, accused of stabbing someone during a road rage fight. Police report Joshua Maloney passed a truck on his motorbike because he thought the other driver was going too slow near the Columbia mall. The victim says Maloney also yelled racial slurs at him while he was with his daughter. At one point, officers say the man got out from behind the wheel and shoved Maloney off his bike, before Maloney stabbed him in the chest with a tire-punch. Maloney was being held on $20,000 bond, charged with second-degree assault.
