Three teens injured, one dead in fatal crash
One teenager died in a car crash late Saturday night near Shelbyville, Missouri. Three others had serious injuries according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
The report says the car they were riding in was heading west on Missouri Highway 168. It says the car went off the north side of the road, overcorrected and went off the south side of the road. The report says the car overturned multiple times.
According to the report, none of the passengers, — aged 14, 15, 16, and 17 — were wearing seat belts. They were ejected from the car.
One teen died on the scene. Two were flown to University Hospital in Columbia. The last teenager was taken to Hannibal Regional.
