Friday evening, September 23

TONIGHT: It will stay mostly clear with temperatures staying mild in the mid 60s. Winds will be from the south at 2-5 mph.

SATURDAY: We’ll start off Saturday with sunshine but skies will turn partly cloudy in the afternoon. There is an isolated storm chance west of HWY 63 Saturday mainly after 3PM, but most areas will stay dry and warm with high temperatures in the upper 80s and light southerly winds under 10 mph.

EXTENDED: Storms will increase from the west Saturday night into Sunday morning as a cold front approaches. Severe storms are not expected. Widely scattered showers and t-storms are likely Sunday, slowly moving east and out of the area Sunday night. Next week looks cooler with more typical late September temperatures. Monday’s highs will stay near 70 with overnight lows in the upper 40s. We’ll warm slowly next week, reaching near 80 by Friday with dry weather.
