Traffic stop leads to drug and guns arrests

On Tuesday, authorities discovered meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, as well as numerous firearms inside a house after the Callaway County Sheriffs Department found suspected meth on a man convicted of distributing controlled substances.

The Sheriffs Department stopped Donald Dillon, 50, for a traffic violation on State Road O East of Fulton. Deputies realized that Dillon had a warrant out for his arrest for felony distribution of a controlled substance.

Deputies also discovered that Dillon was carrying suspected meth on his person at the time of the arrest.

Authorities then obtained a search warrant for narcotics at Dillon’s house in the block of 7100 block of County Road 133.

During the search, authorities found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and numerous firearms.

Authorities also arrested Leslie Williams at the house for giving them a false name and for having four arrest warrants out for stealing and possession of a controlled substance.

Dillon was booked but posted his $25,000 bond.

Williams is still at the Callaway County Jail with a $20,302 bond.

The investigation is on going.
