Jefferson City man pleads guilty to distributing K2

A Jefferson City man, 36-year-old Billie Bruce, pled guilty in Western District federal court Wednesday to distributing synthetic cannabinoids, also know as K2. Bruce was distributing at a Holts Summit business.

Bruce admitted that he sold synthetic cannabinoids to an undercover law enforcement officer in July of 2015 while working at S&J Tobacco.

Officers executed a search warrant at the store that same day, and seized over 2,000 grams and a .40-caliber handgun.

Bruce is facing a sentence of up to 20 years in federal prison without parole.
