Dry, warmer weekend

After a soggy end to the week, Saturday will be drier with increasing sunshine. A cold front will move through during the day to near I-44 by 7 PM. This could cause a spot shower or t-storm to develop with the best chance south of I-70 in the afternoon. Most areas will have a dry day with temperatures reaching the upper 70s to near 80.

The weather looks great for the Mizzou home game Saturday evening. Tailgaters will have a mild afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s with a light northwesterly breeze and decreasing clouds. Game time temperatures will fall from the mid 70s to the upper 60s.

With clear skies and nearly calm winds, widespread fog is possible Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Visibility could be lower than a quarter mile in some areas from 4-8 AM Sunday before the fog dissipates. Lows will dip into the upper 50s to near 60 Saturday night.

Sunday looks warm with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the lower 80s which is above the 30 year average high temperature of 79.
