Pedestrian dies after being struck by a vehicle in Belle

On Tuesday night a woman died after being struck by a vehicle.

Belle Police confirmed with ABC17 that they responded to a crash involving a person near 5th Street and Route EE.

The victim was flown to a nearby hospital for her injuries.

The Maries County Sheriff’s Department later confirmed that the victim was Sherrie Pyatt, and she had died from her injuries.

Deputies are also saying that the crash was an accident.
