Man arrested for assaulting woman, children
A man was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly assaulting a woman and two children.
Police said they responded to the 1500 block of Vandiver Drive just after 9:30 p.m. for a domestic assault.
They said when they arrived, they saw Marcos Elias-Santes inside a home aggressively swinging a bat while a woman and three children stood outside.
An investigation revealed Elias-Santes kicked the woman, choked her and hit her with a lead pipe.
Two of the children had also been kicked and punched.
Elias-Santes is being held on multiple charges including armed criminal action, second degree domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child in the first and second degrees.
