Man sentenced to seven years in prison for child porn
A Fulton man was sentenced to seven years in prison for possessing child pornography on September 6.
Last year, Malcolm Buckner admitted to having more than 20 pornographic images of children aged 12 and younger.
The investigation on Buckner began when the Cyber Crimes Task Force in the Boone County Sheriff’s Department received tips that pornography was being uploaded to email accounts. Search warrants revealed the accounts belonged to Buckner.
Buckner was a former educator and surrendered his Missouri teaching certificate after pleading guilty in July.
Last Tuesday, Judge Jeff Harris recommended that Buckner complete the Sex Offender Assessment program within the Department of Corrections before being considered for release.
