Man allegedly threatens to kill people on his property
A Columbia man was arrested after threatening to kill people if they didn’t leave his property Sunday night.
Police arrived on the scene in the 1100 block of Blue Ridge Road just before 7:00 p.m. after receiving calls about a threat with a weapon.
According to police, Vincent Rodriquez left his trailer holding a long black gun and pointed the gun at four people including three adults and one two-year-old. Rodriquez allegedly then yelled he would kill them if they didn’t get off his property.
Rodriquez was arrested for armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful use of weapons.
