73-year-old killed in Howard County motorcycle crash
UPDATE: ABC 17 News has confirmed the crash was fatal. 73-year-old Emmit Williams was killed.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Williams lost control of his motorcycle and crossed into the path of another car, driven by 16-year-old Colton Wells. Both vehicles then traveled off the right side of the road and hit a traffic sign.
This isn’t the first fatal motorcycle crash in Missouri over the Labor Day weekend. Since Friday morning, there have been four fatal motorcycle crashes statewide.
ORIGINAL STORY: Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers were investigating the cause of a motorcycle crash that happened in Howard County Monday.
It happened on Highway 87, just north of Boonville.
ABC 17 News is working to find out who was injured in the crash.
