Storms through Wednesday, dry late-week

Warm, humid air will remain over Mid-Missouri through Wednesday with scattered showers and t-storms both Tuesday and Wednesday. Severe storms are not expected but a few strong storms with heavy rain & gusty winds to 40 mph are possible ahead of cold front Wednesday afternoon.

Cooler, less humid air will move in behind the front Wednesday night with high temperatures only reaching near 80 Thursday under sunny skies. Nights will drop into the mid-upper 50s Thursday and Friday nights. We’ll stay dry as we head into the holiday weekend with warm days and mild nights.
