Mexico officers investigating after 2-year-old falls out of moving car
Mexico Public Safety officers are investigating after a 2-year-old fell out of a moving car.
Officers say the child was in a car seat in the back seat when the door opened yesterday.
It apparently happened as the driver turned her 2002 Saturn into the West Plaza Parking lot from North Western Street.
Right now, officers are looking into why the door and the seat belt failed to keep the child secure.
Officers say the child suffered a minor injury to her forehead, but did not need medical treatment.
An officer with Mexico Public Safety tells ABC 17 News a child car seat expert is looking what went wrong and experts the investigation to be finished next week.
