Firefighters trying to reach mid-Missouri homeowner

Investigators in Callaway County are trying to reach a homeowner after their house caught on fire Wednesday night.

Firefighters said when they arrived at Country Road 328, between New Bloomfield and Fulton, the porch and one side of the home were on fire.

The New Bloomfield Fire Protection District and the Central Callaway County Fire Protection District helped put out the flames.

No one was inside of the home at the time of the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
