Marginal Risk for Severe Weather Tuesday

Storms will be increasing in the afternoon hours for areas west of US 63. Storms look to increase by 2-3PM. Forecast models are showing some wind shear evident for areas south of I-70 this evening. If we get some sun in the afternoon this will help fuel afternoon storms. The main threats with storms from 2PM-7PM will be heavy downpours and 50 mph winds or greater. There will be another round of storms possible late tonight and early Wednesday morning, mainly from 2AM-6AM. Areas that look favorable for storms early Wednesday will be north of I-70.
