Crashes, construction tie up traffic on I-70 westbound
Multiple crashes blocked the westbound lane of I-70 east of Columbia Wednesday. ABC 17 News learned one report involved three vehicles blocking the left lane just before the Lake of the Woods ramp.
Police confirm no one was hurt, and one vehicle was towed from the scene.
Another non-injury crash was reported around 10:25 a.m. at the 136 mile marker just west of the Route J exit near Millersburg.
Cars were also moving slowly in the area because of on-going pavement repairs by MoDot, which should close various stretches of the interstate through October. That is closing one westside lane until Friday, along with the St. Charles Road overpass.
