Deputies arrest mid-Missouri man after search

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Scott Allen, of Williamsburg, Tuesday following the execution of a search warrant.

Deputies told ABC 17 News they executed the warrant in the 4000 block of County Road 135 near Williamsburg in northeast Callaway County just before 11 a.m.

The search warrant was issued for an ongoing burglary and theft investigation being conducted by Callaway County deputies.

During their search, investigators found stolen property from a burglary near Auxavasse, drugs and a gun.

Allen was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and a narcotics violation.

He was taken to the Callaway County Jail where he posted a $5,000 bond.

Allen was charged Tuesday with felony unlawful possession of a firearm and misdemeanor drug possession.

A warrant has been issued for Allen’s arrest.
