Fulton Fire, Police on scene of plane crash at Fulton aiport
UPDATE: 1:10 p.m.: The plane was towed from the runway. The runway is opening again for other use. Fulton Police told ABC 17 they believe the pilot attempted to land too fast. The Fulton Sergeant said the pilot was not injured and was the only passenger on the plane.
ORIGINAL STORY: At least one fire truck was on scene at the Fulton airport Sunday afternoon.
The Fulton airport is on County Road 304 west of Fulton.
Another pilot at the airport told ABC 17 News it was more of a hard landing than a crash.
The second pilot said air traffic control grounded him until this was cleared up because the other runways are closed.
