Four people arrested for selling drugs and unlawful use of weapon

Four Columbia residents were arrested for drugs, unlawful use of a weapon, and stolen property in North Columbia on Friday night.

Around 9:52 p.m. , Friday night, the Columbia Police Street Crimes Unit detectives was patrolling the 1900 block of Gordon Street. Upon patrolling, they observed a potential drug sale between a male and the driver of a vehicle. Columbia Detectives then completed a traffic stop, while making contact with the driver. The driver of the vehicle had a bag of marijuana.

Detectives then made contact with residents of the home, identified as Jesse Atterberry, Nicole Creason, Austin Nelson, and Jacob Calvert.

While near the home, Detectives smelled a strong odor or marijuana coming from the residence. A search warrant was served at the residents and detectives found the following inside the home:

-digital scales, several empty bags, an undisclosed amount of money, marijuana in bedrooms of the home, approximately 134 grams of marijuana packaged in bags in the laundry room, 25 aprazolam pills in the laundry room, eight guns, two of which were confirmed stolen, various prescription pills throughout the resident.

Jesse Atterberry, Nicole Creason, Austin Nelson, and Jacob Calvert were all arrested for two counts of distribution/delivery/manufacture/produce of a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of weapons, and felony receiving stolen property.

Unlawful use of weapons with a bond of $4,500 and felony receiving stolen property with a bond of $4,500, for each person.
