MO Highway Patrol: “So far so good!” at Missouri State Fair

Day three of the Missouri State Fair is officially underway, and so far, everything seems to have gone off smoothly.

When asked by ABC 17 News if there have been any problems at the fair, Sergeant Scott White replied “so far, so good!”

He says 80 troopers are on hand each day to provide for the safety and security of all fairgoers. Troopers come from all over the state–there are seven from Troop F.

There are five primary responsibilities for officers. Those include traffic and gate duty, ground patrol, grandstand supervision, office and administration work and public information.

The Missouri State Fair runs every day through Sunday, August 21st.
