Rain causes flash flooding in Columbia

Heavy rainfall created flash flooding on some Columbia roads Wednesday night.

It started after 5:30 p.m. ABC 17 crews got video of water over streets including Business Loop, Nebraska Avenue, Providence and Broadway.

Rain also contributed to a wreck on Highway 63 just after 6 p.m. Columbia police confirmed the vehicle hydroplaned before crashing.
