One injured in Boone County motorcycle crash

A Mexico, Missouri man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle in Boone County.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Route Z near St. Charles Road.

The Boone County Fire Protection District and the State Highway Patrol responded to the crash.

According to the crash report, a cargo strapped got caught in the back wheel of the motorcycle causing the bike to overturn.

The driver, Brandon Morrison, 33, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries to his back and elbow.
