Red Cross helping two Jefferson City families after fire

The American Red Cross is helping two Jefferson City families following a fire early Friday morning.

The fire happened on Ventura Avenue, and has left a total of three adults and four children in need of help. The Red Cross is offering shelter, food, clothing, and medications for the families. Volunteers are also helping the families plan for long-term recovery.
