Concrete replacement to affect I-70 traffic in Boone County next week

Starting Monday, workers with the Missouri Department of Transportation will start replacing sections of concrete along I-70 in Boone County.

The work will cause lane closures, and will likely create traffic delays during the work periods. The following areas will be affected by the replacement work between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. each scheduled workday:

– Westbound I-70 between mile markers 115 and 116, betweenthe Missouri River bridge andthe Rocheport exit; one westbound lane will be closed August 8-10

– Eastbound I-70 between mile markers 114 and 115, between the Missouri River bridge and Rocheport exit; one eastbound lane will be closed August 8-10

– Eastbound I-70 at exit 121 (Midway); the eastbound exit ramp will be closed August 10-11

– Westbound I-70 between mile markers 136 and 137 west of the Millersburg exit; one westbound lane will be closed August 11-12
