Man accused of threatening law enforcement caught at Callaway fair

Deputies in Callaway County have arrested a fugitive from northeast Missouri after finding him near the fairgrounds south of Fulton.

Law enforcement in Ralls County told Callaway authorities they were looking for Richard Bowlin of Perry, who was a fugitive in Audrain and Montgomery counties on drug-related warrants. Ralls officials had learned Bowlin may have been traveling to the Callaway County fairgrounds on Route C, and told Callaway authorities Bowlin was armed and threatening to kill any law enforcement officers he came across.

Deputies found Bowlin at the fairgrounds and arrested him without any problems. He is currently at the Callaway County jail on the warrants out of Audrain and Montgomery counties.
