Boone County Associate Commissioner, Proposition F results announced

Brenndan Riddles has won the Republican nomination for Associate Commissioner District 2, beating his opponent,Paul A Prevo.

Brianna Lennon has won the Democratic nomination for Associate Commissioner District 1, beating opponents Sid Sullivan, Ann Peters, Trevor A. Fowler, Gene Rhorer and Ted Farnen. Lennon told ABC 17 News that one of her biggest priorities will be to expand the Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber crimes unit. Lennon says, “we have a lot of younger people, and older people in Boone County. We have a problem that we need to address.” Lennon says she will use her experience as a consumer protection attorney.

Fred Parry has won the Republican nomination for Associate Commissioner District 1, beating opponentsJames B Pounds andMatt Cavanaugh. Parry tells ABC 17 News Wednesday morning will be the start of campaigning for the November elections. Parry told ABC 17 that the message will stay the same, hoping to gather more democrats to his side.

Boone County Associate Commissioners will be eyeing the seat of Karen Miller’s old seat, which she held for over 20 years.

Additionally, Boone County residents voted in favor of Proposition F, which will continue the existing sales tax on purchasing out-of-state motor vehicles, trailers, boats and outboard motors.
