Warm weekend, rain chances

Temperatures will stay just below average for this last weekend of July. Saturday will start off with mostly sunny skies and upper 60s in the morning, climbing into the mid 80s in the afternoon with low humidity and light winds. It will be a perfect day for most outdoor activities.

Heading into Sunday, a cluster of t-storms is expected to move into western Missouri by daybreak and move east as they weaken. Some clouds and showers are possible Sunday morning mainly in areas west of HWY 63. A warm front will lift northeast over the area late in the day Sunday which will also give us a chance of t-storms by evening. High temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 80s Sunday but the humidity will be a bit higher as winds shift to the south.
