Expect traffic delays on I-70 this weekend

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be working on the Lamine River bridge this weekend.

Traffic on Interstate 70 near Boonville is down to one lane in each direction.

MoDOT officials said drivers should expect major traffic delays on I-70 during peak travel times on Friday.

Officials encourage drivers to take a different route. They said to use Routes 50 and 36 if possible.

The Lamine River bridge work is expected to be completed by the end of August.
