Storms bring widespread strong winds July 13

A line of severe storms brought strong winds and heavy rain to Mid-Missouri from 11 AM to 3 PM July 13th. Widespread damaging winds of 60 mph or greater were reported as this line moved through, along with heavy rain which caused flash flooding. Here are the storm reports.

12:55: Higbee (Randolph Co) Roof Damage To Homes And Outbuildings From Wind And Tree Limbs. A Couple Trees Fell On To Homes. Trees And Power Lines Blocking Roads. Mid-Sized Transmission Line Down.

12:30 PM: Osage Beach (Camden Co) Electric Coop Website Reported Up To 10,000 Customers Without Power Across The Lake Of The Ozarks Region.

1:00 PM: Stover (Morgan Co) Several Large Trees Down

1:00 PM: Ulman (Miller Co) Numerous Large Trees And Power Lines Were Blown Down Around Ulman And Across Miller County.

1:04 PM: Moberly (Randolph Co) Large Tree Down And Various Large Limbs From Other Trees. Heavy Rain.

1:10 PM: California (Moniteau Co) Trees down across most of the city

1:15 PM: Moberly (Randolph Co) Numerous Trees And Power Lines Down

1:15 PM: Columbia (Boone Co) Multiple Trees And Powerlines Down Throughout The City

1:25 PM: Roach (Camden Co) Three-Inch Diameter Tree Limb Down

1:30 PM: Paris (Monroe Co) Trees Down Accross Mo Hwy 15 And US 24

1:35 PM: New Bloomfield (Callaway Co) Trees Down In Town

1:40 PM: Fulton (Callaway Co) Tree down into power lines

1:45 PM: Fayette (Howard Co) County Road 401 Flooding. Minor Flooding With Water Coming Up In Town

2:15 PM: Waynesville (Pulaski Co) Numerous Large Limbs Blown Down In The Waynesville Area. There Was Damage To A Fence And Minor Damage To A Home.

2:15 PM: St. Roberts (Pulaski Co) Several Trees Were Blown Down Around St. Roberts

2:17 PM: 2 Mi E of Freeburg (Osage Co) Trees down on Route 89

2:20 PM: Bellflower (Montgomery Co) Transmitter Down

2:24 PM: Owensville (Gasconade Co) 4 Inch Diameter Tree Limbs Down

2:30 PM: Rolla (Phelps Co) Numerous Large Tree And Power Lines Blown Down Across The County. A Few Trees Were Blown Onto Cars. One Tree Was Blown On To A House Causing Structural Damage.
