Freedom of Road Riders hold 5th annual Christmas in July
The Freedom of Road Riders held their fifth annual Christmas in July ride for food, toys and cash donations Saturday night.
Donations were given to the Samaritan Center of Jefferson City to support families in need.
Approximately 50 bags of food were collected at the event.
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve regularly holds charity events in Jefferson City and the surrounding area. Later this month, they’re planning to have a Tots for Toys event at the Wendy’s on Country Club Drive.
