Candle light vigil held for man killed by drunk driver

Family and friends gathered Sunday evening at Speaker’s Circle on MU’s campus for a vigil to remember Dr. Kiran Lamichhane.

Dozens attended the emotional vigil.

Lamicchane was killed by a drunk driver on July 1 while walking on ABC Lane in Columbia.

He was an employee at ABC Laboratories.

The driver, Ralph Ringer, is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash.
