Water main break causes water damage to home, yard

A water main leak on Iven Road in Jefferson City has left a home with some damage in the front yard and basement.

The break happened early Friday morning; workers say only the one house was affected, and no boil advisories have been issued. Cole County Water Supply District crews are on scene fixing the leak.

No damage estimate has been released for the affected home, and officials haven’t determined what caused the leak.
