Convicted felon charged in mid-Missouri
A convicted felon is charged in mid-Missouri after deputies say he shot a gun at a woman’s head.
David Dornell Manning was charged Monday in Boone County court for the attack.
According to court documents, the shooting happened at the woman’s home on April 18.
Deputies said Manning waved a gun in the air after becoming involved in an argument with the victim.
After being told to leave the home, Manning pointed the gun at the woman’s head and fired one shot.
The bullet went through an office chair and lodged itself in the brick of a fireplace.
Deputies recovered a spent .25-caliber shell casing at the home. Investigators also recovered the spent bullet from the fireplace.
