Brief pursuit ends at Welcome Inn in Columbia
A man was taken away by ambulance after a brief pursuit that ended at the Welcome Inn in Columbia Wednesday night.
Police told ABC 17 News that the man tried running away from police at a nearby gas station. He then tripped and fell into the corner of the motel.
According to police, the man had a warrant for his arrest.
ABC 17 News crews saw at least nine police officers, the Columbia Fire Department and an ambulance at the scene.
The man was eventually bandaged and loaded into an ambulance.
