Jefferson city man arrested for assault after recently being found not guilty of murder
UPDATE 6/20 5:13 p.m-Henderson has been charged with assault in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, and property damage. He is being held on a 25,000 bond.
Henderson got into an argument with his brother. They both got in their own vehicles and while driving near Memorial Park, Henderson rammed his car into his brother’s car twice. Inside the brother’s car was three other passengers, including a child.
When police arrived, Henderson resisted the arrest.
ORIGINAL STORY:On Sunday evening, recently acquitted Paris Alexander Henderson was arrested for a DWI, assault in the 2nd degree, and endangering the life of a child.
ABC17 is reaching out to Jefferson City law enforcement for further information.
This comes after May 6th, when Henderson was found not guilty of killing Bryant Sturkey back in 2015.
Henderson was charged with second degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action.
Those charges were all dropped.
