Woman arrested after allegedly making terroristic threats to Cooper County jail employees

Cooper County authorities now have a woman in custody for allegedly making multiple threats toward employees at the detention center.

Authorities say they arrested 45-year-old Kiwanese Williams of St. Louis. They say she called theCooper County Detention Center multiple times and made threats toward employees of the Detention Center.

Cooper County authorities say security levels were heightened at the jail and courthouse complex after getting the calls.

Investigators with the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office worked with St.Louis area investigators to arrest Williams.

Williams was arrested on a Cooper County warrant charging her with making a terroristic threat. Williams was transported back to the Cooper County Detention Center.

Her bond is set at $100,000.
