Iowa man drowns at Lake of the Ozarks
The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a drowning Saturday afternoon near the Grand Glaize Arm at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Troopers said Anthony Burgmeier, 51, went into the water to go swimming, but did not resurface.
The Highway Patrol dive team located the body using a sonar scanner.
This is the second drowning at the Lake of the Ozarks in 2016. The first happened in January when a boat sank due to flood waters.
