Emergency crews respond to reports of pedestrian hit in north Columbia, 2 detained
Emergency crews are on the scene of a possible crash involving a pedestrian Friday.
It happened around 7:30 Friday morning near Rangeline and Vandiver.
Our ABC 17 News crew on scene saw two people in handcuff near the scene.
Columbia police tell us they responded to reports of a vehicle collision with a pedestrian. They say some sort of disturbance happened at the intersection and people were detained.
ABC 17 News is working to confirm if a pedestrian was hit, why people are in handcuffs, and if anyone was injured. We’ll keep updating this story as we learn more.
